Instructions:
First, you need your supplies. See the supplies list above.
Next take your wooden pumpkin and trace the shape of the pumpkin on the back of your floral scrap paper. Then cut out your pumpkin shape.
Now we are ready to start with our Mod Podge. Mod Podge is like a glue taht dries clear. You can pick a gloss or matte finish. This is totally up to you. I am using the matte finish in this project.

Apply Mod Podge to wooden pumpkin and spread evenly. Apply pre-cut pumpkin scrap book paper to top with side you want to see facing up.

Double sided DIY Pumpkin Home Decor
You can repeat the process on the back side of the wooden pumpkin as well. This is a picture of the back side of mine with an adorable neutral house print. Same process. Pre-cut scrap book paper to wooden pumpkin size, add Mod Podge and attach scrap book paper. This needs to dry for a few minutes at least.
Add Ribbon to stem
Next I added this pretty black ribbon around the stem. start at one end and attach the ribbon to the stem with hot glue gun. Then wrap ribbon to cover entire stem and hot glue in place as needed.

You can use any ribbon you like for the stem. Another option is to paint the stem with acrylic paint or add glitter with Mod podge for some extra bling.
Let’s add some details
On the floral side of the pumpkin I hot glued on some faux flowers and leaves. For the back I added a strand of White Pom-Pom ribbon simply tied so I can move it towards which ever side I want to highlight.

*Please note I left the piece of twine to hand the pumpkin that was in place when I purchased the wooden pumpkin. You could change this out if desired to a fancier ribbon.
Enjoy your beautiful DIY Fall Pumpkin Home Decor

That’s it! Hanging it up and enjoy this beautiful DIY pumpkin fall home decor.
