Halloween farmhouse decor
Halloween is such a fun time of year. I love to bring out all of the pumpkins and spooky home decor. Over the years it has become a fun tradition at our home.
Since we moved from our more traditional style home in the city to our current home in the mountains our home decor style has changed quite a lot. We now have a farmhouse style home in progress and I am so excited to put up our farmhouse Halloween Decor.

How to decorate your farmhouse for halloween
Decorating your farmhouse for Halloween can seem overwhelming. It’s easy to look at all the Halloween decor and just feel overwhelmed. It’s important to just find a few key pieces to accent your home for the Halloween holiday with out overwhelming your space.
Farmhouse decor is simple, rustic and charming. Adding too much can overwhelm your desired farmhouse decor.
Tip number 1- add pumpkins
There is something about pumpkins that just adds a bit of charm to any farmhouse decor.
Not only are pumpkins a great addition for Halloween decor, but they are also great for fall decor through Thanksgiving. Check out 7 Pumpkin Must Haves For Fall Farmhouse Decor!
My favorite farmhouse decor pumpkins are the white or more pastel colored pumpkins. This years home decor has some amazing new pumpkin shades to consider. A bright teal, creamy white and a beautiful maroon are just a few of the new colors to consider. Check out these pictures of available pumpkins. Click Pics!
Pumpkins are super easy to incorporate. They can go in rustic baskets or wooden boxes. They can sit on tables or window siels. I love to add they to bookcases or the tv stand.
You can also add pumpkins in a variety of other ways. Throw pillows with pumpkin prints, pumpkin wall prints, pumpkin smells(hand soap, dish soap, lotions, candles).
You could also add pumpkin shaped items to your farmhouse decor in neutral colors. Like plates or soap dishes. Coffee cups with pumpkin prints or sayings would also be a great addition to Halloween Farmhouse Decor.
Tip number 2- add Halloween signs
Halloween signs are so much fun. They have the silliest saying and I love how they can brighten up a space with just the wording on them.
Signs can also be fall themed. I have so great fall themed sign ideas for you in my post about The Best Fall Farmhouse Decor Tips.
Here are a few awesome Halloween signs. Click on Pics to check them out.
Happy Halloween, Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice, Spooktacular, Boo, Happy Fall Y’all ………There are so many options.
Tip number 3- ADD a little bit of spooky

OK so I’m not saying you have to add a full haunted house feel to your home, but a little spooky is fun way to add to your Halloween Farmhouse Decor.
One our my kids favorites is a faux rotary phone that has spooky saying when you pick it up to your ear. We picked it up years ago from Target and it’s like a little treasure ever year when we pull it back out.
We also love ghost stuff. It goes great with the farmhouse decor vibe as they are of course white.
Black items blend well with farmhouse decor too like a spider web table runner or faux black candles.
Check out these fun little spooky items. Click on pics for details.
ADD a little extra Halloween fun
Halloween really is all about the fun and enjoying the holiday. One of our family traditions is to add bowls full of candy and other fun Halloween items through out the house.
The other Halloween items are spider rings, fake fingers, witch nails, fake eye balls, sticky hand spider webs and what ever other trinkets I find in the dollar sections around town.
