Holiday crafts are a great way to enjoy the holiday time together and create some of those magical moments. One of our favorite holiday traditions is to create paper snowflakes together every year while we all gather around the kitchen table.

markers, colored pencils or crayons
glitter glue(optional)
How to make a paper snowflake with a template

Next, color and decorate your snowflake
Yep, we are going to simply color and decorate our snowflake. Note we are doing this before we cut out our snowflake as this simple tip makes it so much easier to decorate your paper snowflake template as it is still on a full sheet of paper.
Consider adding glitter glue for some extra bling and WOW!
Now, we are going to cut out our snowflake
Grab some classic go to scissors and cut out your snowflake. Take your time as snowflakes can have some tricky edges.

I love to use our paper snowflakes through out the house for holiday home decor ideas on the cheap. I will add a small hole and string a thin ribbon through to hang them on the Christmas tree and different areas in the house.
